A domain is a web address for your website and it is unique for your school. You may already have a domain for your school if not you can purchase one with a domain provider.
There are lots of domain providers out there but below you'll find links to some of our favourite providers.
Once you have registered your domain you will need to connect it to your website.
First, go to the Website Settings and click Domain. Here you will see the system domain we have created for your site and a button to connect to an existing domain.
Click Connect Existing Domain

Now you will need to add the DNS information to your domain. There are 2 DNS records. An A Record and a CNAME record. Adding these will point your domain to your website.
To add these records log in to your domain provider and click to edit/manage the DNS.
Once you see the DNS records you will be able to add your 2 records here. Check with your provider for details on how to add these records.
Make sure there aren’t any duplicating records as they will result in the domain not being connected properly. You should have only one A record with @ as Host/Name and only one CNAME record with www as Host/Name
Every domain provider should allow you to add these records but if you struggling to find out how to do it, contact them and they should be able to add this information for you.

It can take up to 48 hours for these changes to take effect but in our experience, it only usually takes a couple of hours.
Once your domain is successfully connected to your website and your site is published we will issue it with an SSL certificate.
